Saturday July 9th don’t walk, RUN to the House of Blues Orlando. At 7pm your eyes can feast on the crème de la crème of rock poster artists (or entertainers like Stainboy – wink wink). I had the distinct pleasure of meeting and photographing Jeff , Thomas and Stainboy. The artists exhibiting and selling at the HOB are also featured in the huge Art of Modern Rock book. Music starts at 9pm so get there early and bring some benjamins!

Clockwise from the pretty female, Brittany Wilson (drummer), Danny Pena (bass) and Johnny Neverland (guitar/lead vox) = The Fashion.

Brittany can be described as a tomboy. I'm not knockin' that because other than my wedding dress, I haven't put on a skirt or a dress in years! So mark the date down on your calender - June 27, 2005 Brittany wore a dress and WORKED IT! If anyone wants to torture her ask her to put on the denim boots.

Check out the links on the blog to check out music by The Fashion. I personally have Rock City Rebel on my iPod....

The Fashion rocks...capri suns rock...and so does my studio.

Southern Grace

Southern Grace

Funny how life plays these little mind games on adults. Remember way back when...the days would last so long you thought bedtime would never come. 2pm would roll around and you were happy knowing you had hours more to play with your friends, your toys, your Barbies and Matchbox cars. Now as an adult there is a stark contrast. When 2pm rolls around you think how much more work can I get done before its dinner time...

So I pose the question, how many people out there listen to their inner child? Last night I saw a pretty clever commercial for ING. It had a white nerdy type business man enthusiastically arguing with a midget sized version of him. The smaller version of the man was wearing a silly outfit and whining about wanting either a mocha or a cappuccino. Then the commercial goes on to explain that it was a man struggling with his inner child.

I think for some professions its easy to loose sight of your life. If more people embraced their inner child there would be a lot less IBS going around. Regardless of my workload, at least for one moment every day I do something to make my inner child laugh out loud. She's thankful I haven't lost her, despite being a busy woman.

Southern Grace, you are an inspiration to me - I LOVE YOU!
